Feds have charged a Missouri woman who was filmed and pictured — and of course, posing — with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi‘s wooden nameplate during the deadly Capitol riots that took place on January 6.
Emily Hernandez, from Sullivan, Missouri, is the woman seen with Pelosi’s sign according to a criminal complaint that includes three tipsters that lead to the suspect. At the time of writing, the woman has not yet been arrested, according to KY3.
According to The New York Post, Emily Hernandez was seen in an ITV News video wearing red sunglasses with a greay winter hat — Pelosi’s sign included — while surrounded by pro-Trump supporters.
One tipster sent the FBI a photo from Hernandez’s Facebook page apparently showing she was inside the Capitol. A second tipster shared a screenshot from Hernandez’s Snapchat that appeared to show she under the Capitol dome, the complaint alleges.
She faces charges of unlawful entry, engage in disorderly or disruptive conduct and stealing federal property, the FBI said.
Authorities say more than 120 people have been arrested in connection with the Capitol riot, which killed five people, including a Capitol police officer.
