Paul has been truly outspoken in the last weeks by calling out Conor McGregor for a fight — with a big check and all —. Dillon Danis, Ben Askren and Nate Diaz have been also named by the YouTuber-turned boxer.
Now, Paul has secured his next fight for April, and the YouTuber promises a huge event comprised by ‘Snoop Dogg commentating, huge musical performances… [and] massive people on the undercard’.
According to Cinema Blend, the YouTuber made the announcement his “way” — you know how does that goes. The video features details about when he’s stepping in the ring, teasers and, of course, his foul-mouth coming back to life and controlling his self against Conor McGregor.
Paul will be fighting on April 17th — he later appeared claiming he misspoke the date —, and it will be a PPV show.
Addressing viewers in his video, Paul said his team were going for the ‘biggest pay-per-view event ever’, and that there were a ‘bunch of people we are trying to lock down as opponents’.
I want to fight, like, a real fighter, so that’s what we’ve sort of been working on, but it’s crazy because once you start to actually go into contracts with a lot of these people, such as Dillon Danis, they don’t actually want to sign the contract. They don’t actually want to get down to business. They’re scared.
Paul expressed his hopes that he would be able to announce his opponent next week, so keep your eyes peeled.
